Nora Amins Buch "Migrating the Feminine" (MSB – Matthes & Seitz Berlin)  steht im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung von Rights under the Veil und der Bewegung Demokratie in Europa (DiEM25). Die Veranstaltung findet auf Englisch statt und beschäftigt sich mit Feminismus und Demokratie im Mittleren Osten und Europa. Was bedeutet es in Ägypten Frau zu sein, vor und nach dem arabischen Frühling? Was Frau in Deutschland? Und was geschieht wenn diese Vorstellungen und Normen aufeinandertreffen? Wir freuen uns auf die Diskussion mit der Autorin Nora Amin, der Journalistin und Kritikerin Claudia Kramatschek und natürlich mit Euch!

Nora Amin's book Migrating the Feminine (MSB – Matthes & Seitz Berlin) is at the center of the event organized by Rights under the Veil and the Democracy in Europe Movement (DiEM25). The event will take place in English and revolves around feminism and democracy in the Middle East and Europe. What does it mean to be a woman in Egypt, before and after the Arab Spring? What to be a woman in Germany? And what happens when these concepts and norms meet? We look forward to the discussion with the author Nora Amin, the journalist and critic Claudia Kramatschek and all of you.
